Out and about for the Alberta Arts District’s Last Thursday street fair

by ANDREW WILKINS

On the Last Thursday of June, July, and August, Albert Street is pedestrian-only for fifteen blocks– giving artists, musicians, and crafts people a chance to woo the crowds of thousands.

What started as a DIY neighborhood event has grown to attract thousands of Portlanders and tourists every month.

The event is free for vendors, but organizers require everything sold to be hand made. For more information, including how to vend at Last Thursday, visit lastthursdaypdx.org.
